I am a photographer and videographer based in Washington, D.C. My work has appeared in The Washington Post, The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, USA Today, The Boston Globe, and more.
I am skilled in video production and aerial photography, and founded and led a multimedia company in Harrisonburg, Va. from 2016 to 2017. I have coached women journalists based in 40 global communities through photo production and led photojournalism trainings in the USA, Rwanda, Sri Lanka and Mexico. During my time as the visuals editor of Global Press Journal, I curated and edited more than 270,000 photos for worldwide publication and distribution. I hold a degree in Visual Communication, Photojournalism from the Scripp’s College of Communication at Ohio University.
I was born in California. When not behind the camera, you can find me reading about philosophy, psychology, and science or tending to my beloved pets: sugar glider, Jiro; two cats, Phebe and Milo; and rabbit, Goose.
